THE FORUM
The Forum is a ministry started in November of 2006 in an attempt to engage UNCW in the marketplace of ideas. Seeing the unfornuate discrimination by UNCW and the silencing of Biblical truth across the campus moving increasingly to embrace evolution, The Forum at UNCW embarked on campus-wide campaign calling students to ASK GOOD QUESTIONS and SEEK GOOD ANSWERS. Thousands of flyers were distributed with one of those two phrases only sparking great interest as to what they meant. Alot of students assumed teachers were trying to encourage students to study but in January 2007 the veil was lifted. The Forum met every week addressing a different topic ranging from "When a Lie is Not a Lie" to "Evolution vs. Creation".
Even though The Forum was originally intended to as a campus ministry by September 2007 a new chapter was born at the chapel in Landfall. Open to all the public, The Forum at Landfall sought to engage the community in Biblical Truth.
Although The Forum at Landfall no longer is held, The Forum at UNCW remains an active student organization constantly looking for student leaders to carry the torch.
